Dr. Patricia Mambwe

In addition to holding a Master’s degree and a PhD in Nursing, Dr. Patricia Mambwe also obtained a post graduate certificate in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania – USA. Prior to joining Rusangu University as a lecturer, Dr. Mambwe worked as a senior lecturer in Botswana where she was actively involved in the development of key quality assurance documents. Her scholastic career is characterized by publication of over 20 scientific research articles, including a social attentive book titled ‘ In The Land of My People.

Dr. Mambwe’s professional research publication interests are skewed towards: Maternal and Child Health, Nursing  Education, Social Problems, and Geriatrics. She serves as a reviewer for several International Journals and has participated in the Curriculum Development and Review for Nursing and Midwifery Programmes.

Dr Patricia Mambwe currently works as the Dean of Students at Rusangu University.
