The Rusangu University Council, at its special sitting on May 3rd, 2022, took an action to appoint a new Vice-Chancellor, Dr Dorababu Tadepalli, with immediate effect.
Dr Tadepalli hails from the Republic of India and has been at Rusangu University since 2013. During his time at Rusangu, he has served in a number of positions including Lecturer, HOD, Dean for School of Education, Director for Postgraduate Studies, and Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
Prior to his coming to Rusangu, Dr Tadepalli worked in his native country of India and also served at the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) in Jamaica. He holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and has served in the education sector for about 22 years now.
Dr Tadepalli is passionate about wholistic education which is the answer and prescription for many maladies confronting modern society. He is a firm believer in the ideals of Rusangu University and is passionate about the future of the University.
