Week of Spiritual Emphasis

The Week of Spiritual Emphasis (WOSE) was held from 21-27 November 2021 across the three campuses.

Pastor Chifumbe Kapenya, the District Pastor for Mindolo Mission District of Copperbelt Conference conducted the WOSE for the main campus in Monze under the theme “Sifted but Saved.” Pastor Highten Hamweene, Personal Ministries Director for Woodlands Conference conducted the WOSE for Lusaka campus and Pastor Ephraim Mutoya Jr., the Education Director for Northern Zambia Union Conference conducted the WOSE for Copperbelt campus.

Rusangu University organises a Week of Spiritual Emphasis every quarter or session at the end of which baptisms are usually conducted. These termly appointments are an opportune time for revival and reformation. A number of students have been transformed through these spiritual gatherings.

At the main campus, 24 souls were baptized by the visiting Pastor Kapenya on Saturday 27th November 2021. The day was also crowned by the visit of the Loud Cry Singers from Central Province. At Lusaka campus, 7 souls were baptized into the faith at University SDA Church while 5 souls were baptized at Copperbelt campus under the auspices of Kitwe City SDA Church.
